Limited Budget Fishing

Being just a teenager, my budget is very limited. This is also the case for many other people, which would fit into the same place as me and having to cut back on spending. Fishing is one of my favorite outdoor activities, in fact I would say it’s my favorite. Having the budget situation I’m in, buying a boat to fish out of isn’t an option. Fishing off of shore is always an option, but you can’t always get to the best spots from shore, hindering your fishing abilities. I decided to go with a canoe fishing setup, giving me ample room while also giving me a great opportunity to get on fish anywhere on the lake. It may not be the speediest thing on the lake, but it can get you on fish. The setup I personally used was an old canoe my family had, a new trolling motor and battery case with battery (the battery case I used was an awesome one that allowed accessories, I will have a link below). For a mount I personally made one myself out of wood, but in the future I’ll buy a more sturdy metal one, because after all, you don’t want an expensive new trolling motor to fall off of your canoe.
